Arches & Canyonlands Landscape Photography Workshop
Moab, Utah, United States
Arches & Canyonlands Landscape Photography Workshop The Utah parks of Arches and Canyonlands are home to some of the most visually striking terrain in North America, making them an ideal setting for this immersive landscape photography workshop. With their iconic red rock formations, towering arches, and sweeping canyons, these parks offer an unforgettable canvas for photographers drawn to natural drama, texture, and color. This is one of our favorite workshops to host, not just because of the scenery, but because the fall season brings a special kind of magic to the desert. Why Join Us in November? Luxury Safari Photography Experience in Kenya
, Kajiado County, Kenya
A Premium Safari Photography Adventure in Kenya We are happy to announce our 2025 safari photography workshop, located in the heart of Kenya. Amboseli National Park, the Maasai Mara, and Mara North Conservancy are three of the most sought-after locations for photographing Africa’s iconic wildlife. We begin our adventure in Amboseli, known for its large herds of elephants, big cats, and Maasai giraffes, all set against the stunning backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. We then continue into the heart of the Mara Conservancy, famous for National Geographic documentaries and the BBC’s Big Cat Diaries. Finally, we’ll round out the experience with a stay in Maasai Mara, the epicenter of the Great Migration. Why This Is the Best Safari Photography Experience in Kenya Unlike a standard safari, this experience is designed specifically for photographers. Every detail, from vehicle layout to timing of game drives, is built to maximize your photography opportunities. What Makes Our Photo Safari Unique: Fewer guests per vehicle – everyone gets a window seat and space for gear Guides trained in animal behavior, angles, and photographic timing Camps are selected for low tourist traffic and proximity to wildlife action Focus on rare and dramatic scenes, not just box-checking the Big 5 Daily game drives optimized for golden hour and dramatic lighting Witness the Great Migration Through a Photographer’s Lens The Great Migration is one of nature’s most spectacular events. From late July through September, millions of wildebeest and zebra move across the plains, following the Mara River. As water levels rise, the herds are naturally drawn to cross the river, sometimes more than once a day. This dramatic spectacle attracts predators, creating unmatched scenes for wildlife photography. You’ll photograph: River crossings with dramatic dust trails and splashes Lion, cheetah, and leopard activity heightened by the increase in prey Herd movement and predator-prey interaction in open savannas Cultural Encounters and Storytelling Through Photography During our stay, we’ll also have the opportunity to interact with the Maasai, one of Africa’s most iconic tribes. A visit to a local village will give you a glimpse into their traditions, dress, and way of life. Many staff members at our camps are also Maasai, providing a chance for meaningful cultural exchanges that go beyond photography. Getting to know the locals, their way of life, stories, and traditions, is one of the highlights of our safaris. It adds richness and humanity to your visual storytelling.
