A Landscape Photography Workshop Deep in the Heart of Arkaroola

Join multi-award-winning landscape and astrophotographer Matthew Storer for a five-day landscape photography workshop set in the rugged beauty of Arkaroola, one of South Australia’s most iconic photography destinations.

Known for its dramatic mountain ranges, otherworldly terrain, and dark skies, Arkaroola offers a rare opportunity to photograph both wild landscapes and the night sky in one of only two internationally accredited Dark Sky Sanctuaries in Australia.

What Makes Arkaroola So Special?

From soaring ridgelines and ancient gorges to crystal-clear starlit skies, Arkaroola is a playground for photographers seeking texture, drama, and light. During this workshop, you’ll explore the northern Flinders Ranges, capture golden sunrises and deep-sky vistas, and camp in remote, pristine wilderness under a billion stars.

This experience is designed to challenge and inspire photographers of all levels, using the gear you already own — no pressure, no ego, just meaningful time behind the lens.
